state fair

today was stinking awesome.
w left before sunrise to hunt.
my heart was prepared for him to be gone until long after dark.
but not long after willow climbed into bed with me this morning, he walked in the door!
"when God doesn't want you in the woods, you're not going to be in the woods". basically he left some important things behind & had to come back.
But instead of going right back he stayed with us until after lunch!
we got to do yard work
& then he took us for one last hoo-rah at the state fair.

{p.s. willow has no fear and loved every single ride. momma on the other hand was shaking for 20 minutes after the giant yellow slide. sheesh}
